OK, I have no intentions of hurting any Indian. I am myself from India and love my country and all it’s people.

BUT, sometimes Indian people act so dumb on internet that I can’t do anything but laugh. And also angry because this makes searching online very difficult at times.

Recently, I moved to Delhi for studies and am looking to upgrade my Tata Indicom Photon Whiz connection to Photon Plus. OK, I decided to search a bit for reviews first in my region(Greater Noida!) And guess what, I found non-sense like this:

dear sir,
my name is s***** k***** tiwari and i purchased one photon+ connection on 3rd march 2010 from Tata tele services at Ulubari, guwahati. but still the device is not working and when i give complaint on 25.06.2010 to Tata tele services they gave one address of service center located at Panbazar Guwahati and i submit my device at that service center on 26.05.2010. but still i can’t recieve any device and and one person of the service centre told me that you will received your photon+ in 2 or 3 weeks

And there are heaps of complaints like these. First of all, here are problems with this complaint(and 90% made by others):

• Improper English:  Well, most people do not write English well(or don’t know about Shift key) here in India! Honestly, who can write English like that and that too with even own name in small letters!
• Wrong Places: Complaint was not made on Tata Indicom forums but here which is unofficial and just created by a smart Indian(heck, he/she is cunning!). Why cunning? Because the person created it solely to get profits!

And last, corporate India has realized the foolishness and they are using it! Now, if you went to thread, the reply was:

Dear Customer,

Greetings from Tata Indicom!

This is to inform you that your concern has been noted and our team is eager to resolve it. In order to get to the resolution, we need to get in touch with you and gather more details about the concern. However, we are restricted by the absence of your contact details in your original complaint.

Please do write to us at customer.care@tatatel.co.in, with your contact details (address and connection details).

We assure you that we are committed to resolving the issue to your satisfaction.

What’s wrong with this reply, you might ask!

Well, Tata Indicom customer care guys reply this to every complaint! Yep, they reveal their email address(curse them! Go spammers go!) . Now, either they are too intelligent or too foolish(I think the case is most likely #2!)

And finally, I found this gem on same unofficial forum:

i have given my fullname,full address,state,occupation,age,sex,country,tel no,winning mail, then i came to know its spam what they will do with it hav i am in any kind of trouble

I call it a gem because the lady in question learned nothing from it and revealed her email id again!(She user email id for username!)

Pretty smart, huh!
