About Me
I am a teenager and I live in Hamirpur, India. I have no formal degrees, the only specialty I have is curiosity. I have always loved playing with new things, especially computers!
I had learned basic HTML in school. After that, I learned CSS and PHP myself. These days, I am busy learning javascript.
My Story
I spent first 10 years of my life in my native village in a joint family. After that, dad got a promotion and we had to go to a town called Kunihar(near Solan, Himachal Pradesh). In 2001, my dad bought a personal computer. I started learning by experimenting with different programs. In 2004, we moved to Hamirpur where I live presently.
Till 9th standard, I used PC only to play games.
My life changed when I bought a magazine called Digit, in August 2006. After that, I learned a lot about computers and read this magazine regularly.
In 10th standard, we were given a HTML project to make a horoscope site. Most of the guys in class either got it printed from school(they used to play Pinball when I tried new tags!) and some “clever” ones used MS Front Page. But I followed the rules and hand coded whole site in notepad(only if someone would have told me about WordPress back then! 
) Teacher was so impressed by my project that he kept my project file himself(normally, pages are torn so that two students can’t use same file and are thrown in garbage!). The same year, I also went to State Level Children Science Congress and won third prize in quiz. Sadly, quiz did not include I.T. 
!
In 11th standard, we were introduced to Visual Basic. Teacher could not keep my project file this year because, well, we were not required to make one! However, I completed my first ever software called i-suite that could solve quadratic equations, convert temperature scales and calculate projectile motion. Also, it was the same year when I first heard term “blogging”. In fact, I read a whole book about blogging. It was called “Fast track to Blogging” and came as a complimentary magazine with Digit. I read this book about 10 times but because of no internet connection, I could not blog.
Next major turn in my life came after 11th standard when I somehow made my parents buy an internet connection. First thing I did was to visit blogger.com and get myself a blog.
For next 6 months, I continued experimenting with blogs and in this process, failed thrice. By September 2008, I had learned a lot about blogging but also realized that it was impossible for me to run a blog properly because of studies. So, I decided to start a joint venture with Shirley and Fransiska. After some discussions, we started Blogging With Success in November 2008. Since then, I have learned more about blogging and also WordPress.
These days, I am free as my exams have ended and I am waiting for results of entrance examinations so that I can get admission in college. However, I am split between further education and my passion: Blogging and Freelancing. I will make a decision about it later. For now, I have lot of free time and in it, I am trying to give my business a proper shape so that I can convince my parents to allow me become full time blogger.
